I’m Michelle, and I’m a San Francisco local. I’m also a Scout, meaning I can help you find, book, or plan any unique activities you can think of in the Bay Area. The best part: I’ll always get back to you in 5 minutes.

In the meantime, here are a few suggestions to make the most of this last weekend of summer!
Whale Watching in Santa Cruz
Only 1.5 hours from San Fran, there are tons of whale watching tours in Santa Cruz, the key is knowing the right one! Humpback whales are the most common siting (their season is from April – November), but tours also see blue whales, killer whales, and, of course, dolphins. After your tour, take advantage of local favorites like Verve Coffee and Penny Ice Creamery.
Want to do this? Text FREEWILLY to 415-915-2421, and I’ll find and book the right tour for you. Looking for the best price or the closest one to SF? Just let me know and I can help!
Stand up paddleboarding (SUP) lessons in Sausalito
With highs predicted to be in the 80s, this is a great weekend to hop over the bridge for a morning on the water. What’s not to like about a little exercise, sunshine and views? And when you’re done, make sure to swing by Bar Bocce to round it out with some pizza, beer and a little beach bocce!
Want to do this? Text SUP to 415-915-2421, and I’ll book your morning session or private stand up paddleboard class. Or, I can suggest other calorie-burning outdoor activities for your weekend.
Sail the Bay in a Catamaran
One of our hottest SF activities is this unique city tour from the deck of a 55’ or 65’ catamaran. There is a day outing for the sun lovers, sunset cruise for the romantics, and even a deck trampoline for the adventurous! This is an easy way to make your weekend memorable, and you barely have to leave your house.
Want to do this? Text SAIL to 415-915-2421, and I’ll find the perfect tour for you to sail the bay with your bae. I can even reserve a post-sail date night restaurant.
Oyster Shucking in Tomales Bay
You can’t call yourself a true San Franciscan until you’ve made the pilgrimage to oyster mecca Tomales Bay and gotten a sunburn from too much open air. Tomales is open daily from 9 – 5 PM, there are lots of picnic tables, and you can buy a dozen oysters plucked right from the water you’re picnicking on for $15. Make sure to get there early though, it fills up fast. If you’re looking for an afternoon treat on your drive home, stop at Palace Market for their buffalo milk gelato soft serve, it is to die for.
Want to do this? Text SHUCK to 415-915-2421, and I’ll send you directions, tips, and tricks for getting the most out of your North Bay adventure.
Little Mermaid Sing-a-long at The Castro Theater
Ok, technically this one isn’t in the Bay, or in any body of water for that matter, but we’re betting you won’t mind once you start belting out Under the Sea alongside 1400 people in Castro’s historic theater. The interactive presentation will have on-screen lyrics, is playing throughout the weekend, and even includes goody bags!
Want to do this? Text UNDERTHESEA to 415-915-2421, and I’ll reserve your spot in the Little Mermaid musical adventure. Optional but encouraged, I’ll reserve you a mermaid costume.
None of the above float your boat? Text me at 415-915-2421 or email me and I’ll get back to you within 5 minutes to customize a plan for you. I’m here to make your travel (or tourist weekend at home) epic! As always, you can download the app to talk to one of our Scouts anytime.
