Typically, you’d want the person in the pilot’s seat of any jet you’re on to be conscious. But this Boeing 747 near the Stockholm Airport is a notable exception. Converted to an airport hotel, this 1976 Boeing features a lounge, restaurant and 29 bedrooms — including a cockpit suite complete with a private bathroom and panoramic runway views. Sure, it may not be your first choice when there are options like this just downtown, but with it’s clean rooms and onboard bar, there are certainly worse places to spend a layover.
